Sheet music for Caveman

I like complicated music. It's not a matter of being pretentious, but rather a way for me to be mesmerized. I've played so many chords and followed the same tonal patterns during countless hours. This has resulted in me getting tired of it. I know what's around the corner in many songs. This is where my love for complicated music comes in. I have no idea what's about to happen and that is a trait in music which I hold very dear.

In light of this I try to write music that surprises myself regarding rhyth, time and tonality. Often the process of creating that kind of music is trial and error for me, and seeing that it usually ends up fairly complicated I try to take note (haha) of the music I create.

Recording demos at home is simple business since I have eternal takes and my dear friend MIDI to help me out during those tight passages. Seeing that I'd like to record my music in a non-pathetic studio I am faced with an issue: I'm mediocre when it comes to playing "strange music" as described above. Faced with this I've aquired a bunch of brilliant musicians along with my brother as engineer and producer. We are currently in the process of rehersing the music, but hopefully the EP I'd like to do could be realized during the autumn of 2015.

If I one day can sound like Steely Dan, Avishai Cohen or The Yellowjackets I'd be one lucky guy. Probably won't happen though!
